suspeedia

A Note

Posted by: utau on: 10 November 2008

Hello there, this is just a small announcement to clear up any confusion anyone may have about our project.

We are not jointing with anyone for this project, and groups who encode our subs are not a part of our group, nor are we a part of theirs.
We do appreciate others encoding our subs for those who have a hard time using .ass, though.

Thank you.

Hatsuyuki is totally ruining your group’s reputation imo.

What do you mean? In what way(s)?

i think he’s stealing the spotlight just because he made it

into an .avi.

well off what i know the only thing he contributes to is

changing the type of file it is and helping others.

other people such as translaters, encoders, etc are not in big

lettering/font like name of the group!

so i think i sorta know how ausu feels! ^.^

so your not with Hatsuyuki?

Thanks, king. You just helped me make an important decision that has been bugging me all day.

No, we’re not with Hatsuyuki.

I don’t think Hatsuyuki is stealing your spotlight, they have -suspeedia after their name, and I’ve been checking back here for to see if you have release the subtitle files so I can encode them for myself as well.

I think, if they really wanted to steal your work, they would remove suspeedia from the brackets. I think they are just trying to help others out so they don’t have to download the raw and the sub file, but rather just download the container with both.

If you truely want do not want them to use your work, after a few releases make the comment say people will have to get them here. *shrugs* But really that would not solve anything. It would make you seem like you just want attention, and then alot of people will just continue to wait on chibi’s releases.

Personally, I appreaciate your work because I miss my Amu, and the more I get to watch, the better. I may be 19, almost 20, but Shugo Chara is ‘teh c00l’.

So, either way,

Thanks for your work.

Yes, our name is still there. But I’m troubled for a number of reasons.

The main one has to do with how this beautiful work is presented. When you fansub something you are stealing someone else’s work no matter what. But you also want to make sure the original work is shown in a good light. I’m sure the creators of Shugo Chara would be much happier with a good encode hitting Tokyo Tosho first than a bad one. Although I’m sure Hatsuyuki’s encodes are good quality, the point is that I can’t control that with the way things are right now. Maybe someone else will come along and release very bad quality encodes and there’s nothing I can do about that except start releasing encodes myself that are excellent quality. Actually, there is very little stopping me from doing that; I just wanted to avoid it at first to see what would happen. Now I have, and I understand why I need to do it. It’ll be better for everyone except Hatsuyuki since the encodes will go up faster now. If you live in the US, you will always be able to watch and understand Shugo Chara the same day it airs in Japan.

BTW, I’m much older than you, and I love Shugo Chara much more than say Code Geass or Death Note. (Obviously – that’s why I’m doing all this work.)

Well, if you are going to start encoding the episodes yourself, I look forward to your work, and wish you the best of luck in the project.

If you ever need some kind of staff, post a note on this page, I’m sure you will get responses, myself included. Then again, if you do, be careful as well.

Anyway, heres looking forward to the next;

*cheers*

Generally speaking, when groups joint, whichever group provided the translation is named first, so I can’t help but agree with some of the comments here. I’m glad you guys seem to have a handle on the situation.

I love suspeedia fansubs! ^^ You’re so quick in your subbing!
